چکیده
Solid waste is one of the largest sources greenhouse gases (GHGs) today. The carbon footprint landfills also has a large impact on global warming. Therefore, it becoming more urgent to study possibility better environmentally friendly approaches for solid management and its safe disposal. digestion biological process that breaks down organic content thus stabilizes it. It allows recovery valuable resources (such as biogas) utilization stabilized in various industries. In this study, six substrates were studied determine their biomethane potential (BMP) anaerobic digestion. fermented digested anaerobically, biogas production was measured. methane yield food had higher between 354 347 mL/g-TCOD, biodegradability 89–87%. Wastewater sludge yielded 324 288 mL/g-TCOD with 81–73%. A kinetics analysis using first-order Gompertz models performed biodegradation production.

Modeling of Anaerobic Digestion of Complex Substrates
A structured mathematical model of anaerobic conversion of complex organic materials in non-ideally cyclic-batch reactors for biogas production has been developed. The model is based on multiple-reaction stoichiometry (enzymatic hydrolysis, acidogenesis, acetogenesis and methanogenesis), microbial growth kinetics, conventional material balances in the liquid and gas phases for a cyclic-bat...
متن کاملIn vitro Fermentation, Digestion Kinetics and Methane Production of Oilseed Press Cakes from Biodiesel Production
Following the extraction of oil for biodiesel production, oilseed press cakes are high in fat. As the dietary supplementation of fat is currently considered the most promising strategy of consistently depressing methanogenesis, it follows that oilseed press cakes may have a similar potential for CH4 abatement. As such, this study aimed to characterise the nutritive value of several oilseed pres...
متن کاملMethane production by anaerobic digestion of wastewater and solid wastes
Anaerobic conversion of organic materials and pollutants is an established technology for environmental protection through the treatment of wastes and wastewater. The end product is biogas –a mixture of methane and carbon dioxide–, which is a useful, renewable energy source. Anaerobic digestion is a technologically simple process, with a low energy requirement, used to convert organic material ...

Titrimetric Monitoring Of Anaerobic Digestion: VFA, Alkalinities and More
Volatile fatty acids and bicarbonate measurements are important to assess a digester’s stability and to control it. Titration methods are the most likely cost-effective methods to determine those variables with acceptable accuracy. In this paper, titrimetic methods will be classified and evaluated. Two titrimetric sensors are compared for their potential on-line use. One sensor uses advanced in...
